On Thursday May 28 we had a full pack of dogs and a gorgeous sunny day. Our lucky pack included Bogie the Golden Retriever, Brando the German Shepherd, Winston the Aussiedoodle, Nyssa the Husky / Malamute, Noah the Labradoodle and Petey the American Bulldog.
Brando just LOVES Winston. But he’s a little more focused than we’d like. As a result Brando spent the first bit of the walk on leash with me. We hiked by our favourite watering holes. Some of which are quickly turning into mud holes. The only thing Brando likes more than Winston is a good muddy puddle. So we were happy we had him on leash when we walked by the muddiest stuff.
Petey is slowly coming to terms with his muzzle. He’s spending less time trying to get if off and more time running through the forest. We’re really happy to see this as running through the forest is what we love to do!
Bogie, Nyssa and Noah took a leisurely path through the forest. Making sure to take lots of water stops and smell all the interesting stuff. Winston has been doing great. He’s learning to check his energy and come to me when he gets unsure. It’s great to see and was icing on a great hike.
