Due to the holiday on Monday (Family Day in British Columbia) we bumped our walk to Tuesday. Along for the adventure was Rozza the Mix and Golden Retrievers Bailey and Stella. This may sound a little weird, but I think that Stella has one of the nicest tails of our pack. It swishes so nicely when she walks along. I often get comments on how happy she is when I pick her up in the morning. It sure is an expressive tail.
Anyway… This was the first walk for Rozza without his buddy Logan. You could tell he missed having a high energy buddy to play chase with. However, I did get one of my all-time favorite shots during our walk. Rozza desperately tried to get Bailey to pay attention to him. It was insanely cute! Unfortunately Bailey was more interested in his stick than Rozza’s antics.
Cypress Falls Park is one of the busier trails we go to. Especially as it is snow free for the most part. It was great practice for Rozza to greet other packs. We even found a high energy buddy for him to chase at the end. Rozza did great! He’s barking less when we come across other packs. The little rascal did let out one final bark when he was done playing with his new friend. (tsk tsk) Overall he was fantastic, with each walk he trusts me a little more. The best reward of all!
