Whew! Today certainly put the adventure in our dog walks. The combination of wet weather and a slight warming meant there was a lot of melt coming down the mountain. Trail crossings that were normally dry were flooded! The snow was wet, heavy and deep in the higher elevations. Very slow going as we were punching through the snow with every step.
Highlight of today’s walk include: We saw what looked like a bear paw print and a very old Douglas Fir
And the sun came out at the very end. Only complaint is about other dog people. Do your doo-dy and pick up after your dog! I hauled out 4 bags of other dogs poop! Lets keep the trails clean and enjoyable for everyone. It doesn’t decompose that fast!
You can see all the fun we had!
Until next time!
