On Tuesday July 21 we had a fun pack of dogs and a great day for hiking. Our pack included Nyssa the Husky / Malamute, Petey the American Bulldog, Drift the Border Collie, Karma the Desi Dog and Koda the Bernese Mountain Dog. We headed to Millstream Park to find our favourite watering holes and enjoy the hike.
Koda occasionally joins us for walks. He certainly remembered what it was all about and was very excited to see me when I arrived to pick him up. He had a great time happily exploring the forest with Nyssa and Karma. Drift and Petey enjoyed exploring the forest too. But they added in a few rounds of chase and a dash of roughhousing to their playtime. We made sure to spend extra time at the watering spots. It’s really hot out there and there is more distance between water spots. The dogs had a great time splashing around (except for Karma, she’s not much of a water hound). Karma continues to hang out around Nyssa. It’s really cute to see.
All in all it was a great hike!
