On Tuesday August 18 we had a full pack and a sunny day. Our pack included Petey the American Bulldog, Drift the Border Collie, Karma the Desi Dog, Nyssa the Husky / Malamute, Koda the Bernese Mountain Dog and Winston the Aussiedoodle.
There was lots of energy with this group. They quickly started playing chase and exploring the forest. Winston had a little too much energy so he spent a good portion of the walk on leash. He still likes to nibble his friends more than I would like. Some weeks he’s really good and sometimes he needs a little more reinforcement. Overall he’s making good progress and he is happy to be out and about.
We wandered through the forest, making sure to stop at our favourite watering holes. This group likes to dig. Drift and Nyssa both made a good attempt at dirtiest dog, though I think Drift managed to win the title. We have started an instagram account and have more photos and videos posted there.

Koda and Karma our black dogs had no interest in digging. I suppose if you have a white coat you can show off the dirt much better. All in all it was a great hike. It was great fun to watch the pack enjoy the day.
