Friday was yet another sunny day in Vancouver. We took advantage of the cooler morning and started the long weekend with a nice hike!
Our pack consisted of two humans and Pippa the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon! I was able to spend some time in front of the camera thanks to the second human!
We started at Millstream Park (one of our favorites), hiked up past the Hollyburn Fir (an old growth Douglas Fir) and almost made it to the lakes. With the receding snow we were able to hike much further along Brewis Trail than we have been able to the last couple of months. There is a crossing which gets a little tricky in the winter as the bridge and trail gets hidden in the snow. It’s nice to be able to explore more terrain! We’ll make the full loop up Brewis and down the Baden Powell next time.
