Thursday’s pack included Bertie the Gordon Setter and Brando the German Shepherd. This was Brando’s second walk with our pack and Bertie’s eighth.
Brando is still warming up to the idea of an adventure in the woods without his mom. Bertie has settled right in and is doing a good job of showing how much fun the forest can be. It’s great fun to watch Brando relax a little and show an interest in Bertie’s activities.
We’ve also discovered that Brando loves sitting in puddles of water! He made sure to stop and test the quality of each puddle we encountered. He’s a waterdog for sure!
The only mire of the walk is technology related. Sadly I recorded the GPS of our walk, then deleted it before I uploaded it onto the computer. Today’s map is of a very similar route we took in January. It didn’t seem fair to deny the doggies of their hard earned km’s.
Other than that it was a great hike in the woods.
