On Monday we celebrated the holiday with a small pack that consisted of Bailey and Bogie the Golden Retrievers with Noah the Labradoodle. It was a gorgeous day in Vancouver as we headed to Ballentree Park to enjoy the day.
Bailey has had some recent minor surgery. Like most dogs, he’s not fond of his stitches. So he was sporting a stylish new coat to keep him from nibbling on his stitches. He’ll be good as new shortly.
This was a nice mellow pack and we had a great day exploring the forest in the sunshine. Bogie found something fabulous to roll in, while Noah and Bailey looked on. We made sure to stop at some watering holes along the way. Though we’re going to have to start packing water soon. A lot of our favourite creeks are drying up, which makes for slightly less muddy walks. The dogs always seem to know where the muddiest part of the puddle is. All in all we had a great day.
